It is with sadness that we have to inform members that Len Bowden passed away this morning aged 92.

Condolences to Len’s family and friends.

2 woods (Ladies): Sue Bywaters beat Jane Inett 21-19
2 woods (Men): Chris Ball lost 18-21 to Antony Hammett
Pairs: Sarah Vinnicombe and Geoff Bellamy lost 7-25 to Emma Cooper and Ryan Whitlock
Triples: Val Davis, Phil Hackett and Rob Honeywell beat Ella Crouch, Dave Evans and Kieran Kniveton 21-10
Fours: Theresa Darnell, Barbara Bellamy, Dave Vinnicombe and Gerry Coffield beat Natalie Heath, Moira Webber, Mark Powell and Gareth Foster 16-11
Torbay win the match 10pts to 6pts.

The club has learnt that a former member Ian Foster has passed away. Condolences to his family and friends. As soon as we know any funeral arrangements we post post them at the club.

THE CLUB WILL OPEN FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON ON SATURDAY 13th SEPTEMBER.

The 13th and Sunday 14th will be for new members and anyone requiring help with the Bowlr system.

The men’s and mixed leagues will start on Monday 15th September.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS

Applications will be out next week. To try and save on our postage costs we intend to deliver this season’s applications by hand to the outdoor clubs where possible. Those who do not play outdoors will have them sent by post as normal. Please keep a look out for them in your clubhouse. If you have changed clubs and not informed us can please do so, then we can send you a form in the post
