Jenny, Barry’s wife, would like to say a very big thank you for all the cards received and the messages of love and support since Barry’s passing.

She would also like to thank the many people who went to the Crematorium to celebrate Barry’s life.

Also big big thanks to those who have given her support over the last 18 months in what was a very difficult time.

Barry Corps funeral arrangements

Barry’s funeral will be on Thursday 28th March, 1-30pm at Torquay crematorium.

If you can make it the family would love for you to be there and celebrate his life.

Family flowers only please but if you would like to make any donations in memory of dad, we will be collecting for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

 £10 per player which include rink fees for 3 matches

 All players drawn from 2 pools of players relating to ability which makes it even and fair for all
 3 games of 1 hour 15 mins in a round robin system of 16 teams
split into 4 groups of 4
 First game at 9:45am and will be 1 hour 15 mins per match

 Prize for highest scoring rink (shots)
 Bar and food available all day
 Meeting new people and having a fun day

After another successful Drawn Pairs competition the results are as follows

3rd place were Sam Davis and John Cossey, runners up Rob Honeywell and Mike Russell, winners Sean Howard and Alan Marriott.

CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING

On Wednesday 13th December at 10am. Please come along and support this years charity.

We also need raffle prizes, if you would like to donate please put them in the box provided.

Raffle, and meat draw tickets can be purchased from the cafe.

Due to a friendly game being cancelled an umbrella game will take it’s place.

It is on Monday 4th December at 12-30. Anyone wishing to play should put their name on the sheet which will be on the board tomorrow (Thursday) or contact Yvonne Batchelor on 07427492508.

The league sheets for week ending on 24th November will be updated tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

Passed away on Friday morning.

He will be missed by many.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Meet our new caterers Michael and Angela

Dear members
We are very much looking forward to meeting you all in September and providing you with some lovely refreshments!
We know we have big shoes to fill so go easy on us in the first few weeks! Please give us feedback and suggestions. We will be aiming to keep the menu pretty much the same to start and will be guided by yourselves as to what you’d like to have available.
We are pretty easy going and friendly people. We have 2 teenage boys and a mad dog and have lived in Torbay for 2 years.
Angela continues to work at Torbay hospital so Michael will be your main contact or one of our lovely staff.
We have another business in Cockington – The School House Tearoom opposite the forge, which keeps us busy in the summer but remains open on reduced days through the winter. If you’re in Cockington in the coming weeks pop in and say hello!
In the meantime have a great summer and see you in September!

Those who do not play outdoors will have them sent by post as normal. Please keep a look out for them in your clubhouse.
